This is my baby's first car seat. By big kid I mean not an infant seat as he started using it at 8 months. It's really heavy. But I feel like it's safe and solid - no wiggling after I got it installed in my car. I can't imagine it fitting well in a vehicle with taller drivers. I'm short so I can put my seat forward enough that it fits perfectly in my SUV. Overall this is a pretty cool seat and my baby is comfy in it. The padding is super weird too though. I'm not confident I have it set up right but once he gets a little bigger it should be easier to set up the padding.
Safety and comfort were our two big concerns while seeking a new car seat. We have found this car seat is a great fit for our SUV and for our family. Quality is not bad good for the price. easy to install with isofix but just handling belts is not so easy. somewhat tough and i don't know if my 11 months old baby likes sitting on it or not. he doesn't cry but doesn't seem to be so happy with it either. anyway baby car seat is essential so no second thought to send back. hopefully it will work for some years.
